open a new project
add NIFBTest.c to project
select INSERT->FILES INTO PROJECT
choose nifbtest.c from the appropriate folder
add the includes to project
select TOOLS->OPTIONS->DIRECTORIES
scroll to bottom of list
type in path to “\nifbus\includes” folder
add the nifbus library to the project
select BUILD->SETTINGS->LINK
find the object/library modules box
type in the path to “\nifbus\libs\nifb.lib”
set the working output directory
select BUILD->SETTINGS->GENERAL
enter a folder for the intermediate and output files
build the executable version of nifbtest
